NAUTIVELA'S NEW 470 MOULD HAS BEEN APPROVED

Nautivela built a new CNC mould to account for these class rule changes.
On 11 December 470 Class Chief Measurer Dimitris Dimou (GRE), accompanied by International Measurer Haluk Suntay (TUR), visited Nautivela in Italy to measure the prototype built from the new mould.
The International 470 Class Association is pleased to confirm that the prototype complied with the Class Rules.
As part of its ongoing support to ISAF Licensed 470 Class Builders and 470 sailors, the International 470 Class Association will apply a periodic control scheme until the 2016 Games, to check all moulds from time to time.
