ENOSHIMA TO HOST SAILING WORLD CUP 2017-2020
22 Sep 2016Following from World Sailing's announcement on 12 September about the future of the Sailing World Cup, it has now been confirmed that Enoshima will be the venue for the World Cup round hosted in Japan from 2017 through to 2020, including hosting the Final in 2020.
At a press conference on 21 September, Mr Hiro Kawano, President of Japan Sailing was joined by the 470 Women's team of Ai Kondo and Miho Yoshioka to make the announcement. They were accompanied by Mr Yoji Morishita, Vice-President of Aichi Prefecture Yacht Federation and Mr Kaido Kazuaki, President of Kanagawa Sailing Federation.
