Six races have now been completed by the women's 470 fleet and after a long day on the water there is still nothing to split the top four boats. A bullet in race 5 and sixth place in race 6 see Hannah Mills and Saskia Clark (GBR) move back up to the top of the leaderboard. Hot on their heels are Jo Aleh and Olivia Powrie (NZL) who drop their tenth in race 5 to lie in second overall just one point behind their rivals. "It was an up and down day. We came away with a keeper and a non." said Powrie.

Next up are Lisa Westerhof and Lobke Berkhout (NED) on 21 points.

The 470 Women completed their first race of the day on Weymouth Bay West before moving onto the Nothe Course after the drama of the Star and Finn Medal Races. As the wind died and shifted by a massive 80 degrees race 6 had to be re-started. Italy's Giulia Conti and Giovanna Micol posted their first race win to finish the day fourth overall.
