ANOTHER CHALLENGING DAY AT 470 WORLDS, THE SECOND DAY OF THE FINAL SERIES...
Day 2️⃣️ of the Final Series at Hempel Sailing World Championships Aarhus 2018 was not easy for any of the 111 teams in 470 class fleets. Easterlies and south east winds of 4-8 knots, tested the patience of the 3 fleets out in the Bay of Aarhus. Two races sailed in Men’s Gold and Silver fleet and only one race for Women’s single division.
Ai KONDO YOSHIDA/Miho Yoshioka (JPN) still on top position with a scoreboard swift between the second and third place as the bullet scored by Camille Lecointre/Aloise Retornaz at race 7 brought the French just behind the leading team. Third place for Hannah Mills/Eilidh McIntyre (GBR).
The Swedish duo Anton Dahlberg/Fredrik Bergstrom still dominate in Men’s division extending their lead with 7 points difference. After today’s races, second place was overtaken by the French Kevin Peponnet /Jeremie Mion. In leaderboard’s third place stands Mathew Belcher/William Ryan (AUS).
