470 EMERGING NATIONS & COACHES CLINIC 2023
06 Nov 2023The 470 International Class Association www.470.org is organizing a 470 training camp for 470 teams (mainly mixed but not limited) either from Emerging nations or newly formed 470 teams.
The clinic will take place in Athens Greece, Voula area and the hosting club is the Nautical Athletic club of Voula. https://naov.gr/ https://maps.app.goo.gl/psNqhheGa3nT4n8z8
Dates are from 15th to 23rd December 2023.
The clinic will consist of daily on the water practice, theory and various 470 technical topics.
Coaches are also welcome to follow their teams or to take part on the clinic too as individuals.
The 470 class will provide the 470s to all of the teams and full coaching services free of charge.
No coaching, rib & 470 rental fees or fuel expenses from the invited teams side apart of a € 200 fee for hosting at the facilities.
The 470 teams have to bring their sailing clothing gear, lifejackets & trapeze and a 470 spinnaker. Main and jib will be provided.
Participants will receive a certification of attendance and a "470 compact notes” printed copy plus videos and photos of the training.
In due time and after the clinic, each team will receive a full report of performance with valuable personalized suggestions.
