470 Sailor to ISAF International Judge
Congratulations to Christoph Zeiser from Germany who was awarded his ISAF International Judge “wings” in November 2012. A protégée of the 470 Judges Development Programme, Christoph has been supported by the 470 Class to officiate at various events as part of his experience building to become an ISAF IJ.
The 470 Class first appointed Christoph to officiate as a national judge at the 2011 470 Junior European Championships in Belgium. From there, it was on to taking the ISAF International Judge exam in March 2012 and he received confirmation of successfully passing in April 2012. This summer Christoph was back officiating at the 2012 470 Junior European Championships in Italy.
Aged 22 years, Christoph is amongst the youngest ISAF International Judges in the world. Christoph still sails the 470 and in the past has competed in several 470 Junior European Championships.
Christoph will be back with the 470 fleet next year, at the 2013 470 Junior Europeans in Pwllheli, Great Britain from 14-22 August 2013.
