The Nautical Athletic Club of Voula hosted the event, which was held in the Voula municipality of Attica, Greece. There were nine teams participating, representing six nations: Estonia, Lithuania, Pakistan, Serbia, Ukraine and Greece and six international coaches.

Andreas Kosmatopoulos, President of the 470 ICA and clinic supervisor stated. "We were thrilled to welcome young sailors from six different nations and enjoy 470 sailing all together for nine days! The teams are full of talent and eager to excel in the 470’s. The 470 international Class Association continues to believe and support the growth and Olympic ambitions of our athletes!” Head coach of the clinic was Mr. Dimitris Lekakis.

Mykhailo Bilohorodskyi and Polina Zatochna from Ukraine stated: “We came to this camp in Greece, so we can follow a more detailed training schedule, sail in different conditions and become better sailors so we can claim higher positions in next big events ... and why not… become world champions!"

For team Pakistan, a newly 470 duo formed by Nadine Xerxes Avari / Mehboob Zakir, this camp was the first one as the team started sailing only 8 months ago.  "We actually only started sailing in March this year and we have never had formal training because unfortunately those kind of resources are not available in our country. We are gaining experience and understanding from this camp as well as we correct our “wrongs”, making plans for 2024 and onwards to possibly attend the European and World championships and ultimately participate in the 2026 Asian Games."

Natalija Pantić (SRB), who is sailing 470 for the last 3 years came to join this training camp in order to gain inside knowledge in 470 sailing techniques in different from her country conditions. “We love the sunshine, the good breeze and we face unique experiences here in Greece... perhaps one day we can also host a Balkan championship in Serbia.”

Upon arrival, each team was given a printed copy of "470 compact notes, while daily schedule covered theory, 470 technical subjects, and on-the-water practice.

Following the clinic, each team will receive ​ a certification of attendance and a comprehensive performance report that includes insightful, tailored suggestions as well as training videos and photos.
