"NO PLASTIC WAVES" PROJECT DURING 2023 470 JUNIOR WORLDS IN NIDA, LITHUANIA

Every year, the sailing community organizes the project "No plastic waves", during which trash is collected at the beach of Nida. Fortunately, garbage has decreased significantly, as people and Nida guests have become more responsible.
Throughout the 2023 470 Junior World Championship, organizers aimed to support the forests of Nida. That's how the idea to grow pine trees originated.
Nowadays, the entire Nida and sailing community are grateful not only to the 470 sailors from Lithuania, but also from seventeen other countries as well as to everyone else who contributed to the preservation of Nida's forests.
