IN BRACCIANO THE OPENING CEREMONY OF THE 2023 470 EUROPEAN TROPHY & MASTER’S CUP
31 Jul 2023The opening ceremony will take place in Bracciano tomorrow 1st August in the presence of the institutions and representatives of the sporting organisations, which will see the athletes of the various crews parade with the national flags.
The councilor Giancarlo Righini, Councilor for the Budget, Economic Planning, Agriculture and Food Sovereignty, Hunting and Fishing, Parks and Forests of the Lazio Region, Elena Palazzo Councilor for Sport, Environment and Sustainability, Rocco Ferraro, Environment Chief Executive Officer of the Metropolitan City of Rome, will intervene on stage. Marco Crocicchi, Mayor of Bracciano, Angelo Pizzagallo, Mayor of Anguillara Sabazia, Claudia Maciucchi, Mayor of Trevignano Romano, Daniele Torquati, President of the XV Municipality of Rome, Francesco Pizzorno President of the Lake Bracciano Consortium, Riccardo Viola, CONI Regional President, Andrea Mauro Sports Director IV IVF Zone, the President of the Italian 470 Class Vincenzo Losito, Pierluigi De Luise President of the International Jury and Gianluca Fantini President of the Regatta Committee.
All the regattas can be followed live on the screens made available at the Planet Sail Club and in streaming on Studios Academy youtube channel from 2.00 PM till 8.00 PM, also from 3 to 4 August also on the “Motonave Sabazia” which will offer the experience of the tour of the lake and the passage near the free regatta to all spectators with departure at 3.00 pm from the Ex Idroscalo degli Inglesi pier, Lungolago G. Argenti di Bracciano and return at 5.30 pm subject to availability of seats.
The event will take place with the support of the Minister for Sport and Youth Andrea Abodi and with the patronage of the Lazio Region, the Metropolitan City of Rome, the Municipality of Bracciano, the Municipality of Anguillara Sabazia, the Municipality of Trevignano Romano, the XV Municipality of Rome Capital and with the support of the Bracciano and Martignano Natural Park Authority, the Lake Bracciano Consortium, the DMO Beltur, World Sailing, the Italian Sailing Federation, the International Class 470, the CONI Lazio Region.
