Many athletes benefited by receiving technical expertise and coaching, along with financial support to participate in 470 Class Championships.
The extensive range of 470 Development Programmes has reached out to many nations in the world, through:
- supporting emerging nations to attend Championships
- financial support towards entry fees and charter boats
- developing sailor racing skills pre-Championship through intensive on-site Clinics and race training
- daily coaching during Championships
- Regional Coach and Sailor Clinics
Over the past years, 470 Clinics have been held in:
