ALL EVENT INFORMATION
We had three beautiful races today, which were held in a stable southwest wind of 8-12 knots. The Polish team of Pavlowska-Szlija, starting the day in 14th place, won 2 of the 3 races today. After discarding their 20th in the 1st race, they have moved up 10 places in 4th, just one point behind the 3rd team. The Turkish team Tulcari-Danismend had a consistent day with a 3rd ,5th and 2nd. They have taken advantage of the BFD that the early leaders Donner-Slivon from Austria scored on Race 5, to take the lead of the championship by 4 points.

The Junior European Champions from France, Pacaud-De Gennes, had a 16th in the 5th Race and stand now in 3rd place, on equal points with the Austrian team which is also leading the U21 category. The second U21 team is Korsak-Borys from Poland, in 7th place overall, with the French Pennaneac’h-Bunel in 3rd and 8th overall. Lo Pinto-Brenna from Italy are leading the Non-mixed category and are 15th overall.

The Championship is proceeding as planned, with 5 solid races completed after 2 days. So far we had a mix of different wind conditions: Oscar and Romeo flags were flown today in 2 of the 3 races. The PRO Peter Farkas is planning 2 races in each of the following three days, to reach the planned number of races until the medal race, which is scheduled for Sunday.
