NOTICE OF RACE PUBLISHED AND ONLINE ENTRY OPEN FOR 2016 470 MASTERS' CUP

Taking place from 1-6 August 2016 on Lake Bracciano, Italy, the 470 Master's Cup is the Championship for those who are still at the top end of competition - albeit in more senior years. The Notice of Race is published, with full details of the event.

Prior to the 2016 470 Masters’ Cup, the "National Olympic Regatta" race will take place at the same venue from 30-31 July 2016.

ONLINE ENTRY
Online Entry is now open. Take advantage of the earlybird entry fee of EUR250 for all entries made and paid before 30 June 2016. After that date, the entry fee increases to EUR300.

ENTRY DIVISIONS
This is a very strong and competitive fleet who race in the following categories:

Apprentice Masters: one of the crew members of the boat has attained his or her 30th birthday and the addition of the ages of the two members is more than sixty years before the end of the year in which the Cup is sailed.

Masters: one of the crew members of the boat has attained his or her 35th birthday and the addition of the ages of the two members is more than seventy years before the end of the year in which the Cup is sailed.

Grandmasters: one of the crew members of the boat has attained his or her 50th birthday and the addition of the ages of the two members is more than one hundred years before the end of the year in which the Cup is sailed.

Grand-Grandmasters: one of the crew members of the boat has attained his or her 60th birthday and the addition of the ages of the two members is more than one hundred and twenty years before the end of the year in which the Cup is sailed.

*the considered age is the age reached in the current year, regardless if before or after the race

HOST VENUE
Located only a few kilometres outside of Rome, Planet Sail Bracciano is considered the GO TO POINT for water sports enthusiasts
