ALL EVENT INFORMATION

After a rather warm evening on Wednesday, a morning breeze came on Thursday and the race committee chose racecourse no.2 again.

The sailors shared the windiest area of Balatonföldvár with another regatta, and managed to sail three races. The first one started in a 9 kts strong Eastern wind and SUI-1474 got on to beat the German Thieme couple. For the second race of the day the wind dropped a bit, but luckily not too much. The ninth race started for the second time after a general recall with a black flag. The competitors could see a white patch at the right side of the course, which would mean the end of the sail, but luckily in the end wind did not drop too much.

The German Thieme-Thieme duo finished first, Hungarian Sallai-Perjés second as well as the other Hungarian team of Litkey-Batiz third. The podium consists of the first finishers of the last race.

There is a big fight between the rest of the competitors too, the Suisse Huck-Konrad are standing on the fifth, Gond-Bors saved their fourth place, as did the Takács-Asperján with their sixth. Today, the Gala meeting will take place at Ferenc Pince Csárda. The last two races are scheduled for tomorrow at 10:00.
