The renowned sailing venue of La Rochelle in France is hosting the 2013 470 Junior World Championships, which will also mark the 50th Anniversary of the 470.

Held at the same time as the 2013 470 Junior World Championships will be the 470 Masters' Cup, Open Classic and the 470 World Championships will be held immediately after.

The sailing waters off La Rochelle have hosted many a World and European Championships for a wide range of classes and the venue is highly regarded as an outstanding sailing venue both ashore and on the water.
