Hosted at Balatonfüred on Lake Balaton, Hungary, this combined 420 and 470 Junior European Championship will sees Europe's finest sailing talent joined by teams from around the world.

Teams can make their own entries using the online entry system. On making your entry, your 470 National Class Association will be notified and they will be requested to validate your entry. There are no quotas for teams with open entry. The Junior European Championship is for sailors who have not attained his or her 24th birthday before or on 31.12.2016 (i.e. born in 1993 or later). As detailed in the Notice of Race, entries should be completed and paid for before 29 June 2016 to take advantage of the earlybird entry fee of EUR250. Entries received from 29 June onwards will be EUR300.
