JORDI XAMMAR JOINS SPANISH AMERICAS CUP YOUTH TEAM
13 Oct 2016On 11 October, Spain presented its Youth America's Cup Team, Spanish Impulse, who will race in Bermuda inn a parallel competition for the Red Bull Youth America's Cup.
Spanish Impulse has some of the greatest talent of the Spanish youth sailing, and racing alongside Jordi Xammar are Diego Botin, Joan Cardona Mendez, Joel Rodriguez Perez, Luis Bugallo Arriola, Iago L.Marra, Jordi Booth, Florian Trittel, Nicolas Rodriguez Garcia, coached by Australian Olympic medalist Mitch Booth and Jorge Martinez Doreste.
The team has begun training within the Extreme Sailing Series, racing the GC32 catamarans. The road is long, and the journey has started.
