AUSTRALIA CALLING THE NEXT GENERATION OF 470 SAILORS ...

28 Oct 2014

Do you have what it takes and want to launch your Olympic dream in becoming a part of the Australian

DraftM4702014Do you have what it takes and want to launch your Olympic dream in becoming a part of the Australian Sailing Team?!

This is your opportunity:

Australian Sailing will run a Draft Program for the 470 Men’s class this summer.

The purpose of this pilot program is to identify athletes with the potential to develop into Gold Medal winning athletes.

Athletes participating in the program will be tested and assessed both on and off the water for Gold Medal winning potential.

If you are selected to progress in the Draft you will receive specialist coaching from expert coaches, overseen by Australian Sailing Team’s Gold Medal winning coach Victor Kovalenko.

You will also receive first-hand advice from World and Olympic 470 Champions as well as World Class service providers in all areas of campaigning.

A series of camps will be based around key regattas. You may be chosen to form crews and compete in the regattas over the summer.

At the end of the program, you have the chance to be part of two skippers and two crews who will be selected for membership in the 2015 Australian Sailing Squad.

Do you have what it takes?

We are looking for athletes who:
