For the second consecutive year, Toulon Provence Méditerranée “TPM” will be the event’s major partner. “Without TPM, the 42nd SOF would have been under threat, especially in this period of economic crisis” confides Bernard Bonneau. “TPM brings not only financial support but also logistics, great connections and also important facilities like the spectators boats to bring the racing to the public.”

The President of the “Communauté d’Agglomération Toulon Provence Méditerranée”, Mr Hubert Falco is proud to welcome such a prestigious event in his area. He announced the event as a “real opportunity offered by the SOF for the sailing youth of TPM to meet the sport’s elite during this international competition.” This new regatta partner is joining long time sponsor, the city of Hyères, which continues to dedicate significant human resources to the organization of this great event.

Ready to defend their 2009 title in the 470 women are Henriette Koch and Lene Sommer (DEN), and we are waiting to see if Matias Buhler and Felix Steiger (SUI) in the men will enter to defend their title.
