Sunshine and too much wind was the order of the day in Weymouth forcing the Race Committee to post AP’s for all classes for the first couple of hours.
But the conditions led to some exciting thrills and spills once the action got underway. After a two-hour delay, three classes saw some racing at the Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy - the men’s and women’s RS:X windsurfing classes and the 49ers. Unfortunately no racing for the men’s and women’s 470.
Racing continues on Thursday 17 September.
