RACE DAY 1 AT THE 470 EUROPEANS IN AARHUS UNDERWAY
29 Jun 2015Racing gets underway today for the 107 teams competing at the 2015 470 European Championships in Aarhus, Denmark.
Light winds are expected for the few days of racing, before the weather pattern changes mid-week. Take a read of today’s Weather Forecast.
Racing on Monday 29 June
Order of play today is the first warning signal for the 60 boat men fleet is scheduled at 12.00 and the intention is to complete 2 (two) races for men. The first warning signal for the 47 boat women fleet is scheduled at 14.00 and the intention is to complete 3 (three) races for women. Fleet splits are published under the NOTICEBOARD.
For both women and men, the intended starting order will be:
1st start: Yellow fleet (outer loop)
2nd start: Blue fleet (inner loop)
Coaches and Team Leaders Meeting
The coaches and team leaders is scheduled for Monday 29 June at 09.30 in the club house of Aarhus Sailing Club.
