EXTREME SAILING ON DAY THREE IN PALAMOS CHRISTMAS RACE
20 Dec 2017Day three in Palamós saw extreme sailing conditions.
Following the morning absence of wind just after midday, the strong Tramuntana North wind reaching 30 knots blew in the bay with waves of over 2 metres. Capsizes and broken equipment were unfortunately part of today's only race for 470 class.
