Day 4 at XXXVth International 470 Spring Cup

All change after today's three races, 7, 8 and 9, on Saturday, which were contested in sunny conditions with a stable southerly wind of around 12-13 knots.

For some though, it was a day they could have done without. Particularly Great Britain's Nic Asher and Elliot Willis who had pushed up into the silver medal position after race 6, but have plummeted back down to tenth after an OCS , 9 and 29 in today's races.

At the front of the fleet, Mathew Belcher and Will Ryan (AUS) are sitting tight with a narrow margin over Pierre Leboucher and Vincent Garos (FRA) in second. Still staying firm in third is Argentina's Lucas Calabrese and Juan de la Fuente.

The biggest climbers after today's racing were Sofian Bouvet and Jeremie Mion (FRA) who posted an 8, 7 and 3 to move up into fourther position. Whilst there is a significant points margin between the top three and the rest of the fleet – we will see what the final day's racing brings.

Sunday is the last day of racing with the warning signal planned for 0900 hours. The Marseilles Marathon is taking place along the coastline tomorrow, so it will be an early start for competitiors as everyone needs to be on the regatta site by 0700 hours, after which access will be closed.
