Catching up with Indian Ambitions
Competing at their first international event since last year's 470 World Champions are India's top 470 team of Muttu Pushparajan and Narendra Rajput. We caught up with them on day 1 of the 2011 470 European Championships in Helsinki, Finland when the teams were waiting on shore for wind.
Muttu and Narendra told us about their preparation here in Helsinki and plans for the future, which include the ISAF Worlds in Perth and the 2012 Olympic Games is also in their sight.
Now after two day's of racing the Indian team are in 58th overall in the 78 boat 470 fleet. They have posted finishes of 27, 27, 30 and 25 and are happy with the varied conditions the Championships have delivered so far.
