CAPE TOWN CLASSIC IS UNDERWAY

The 470 Cape Town Classic regatta is underway at Granger Bay, Cape Town, South Africa. The event is sponsored and organised by RaceAhead.

ALL EVENT INFORMATION

11 Team are racing 10 boats, with the last finisher in each race being subbed out for the following race.

Act 1 took place on 6th January in moderate conditions and consisted of 10 x 25 minute windward-leeward races forming a 10-race no-discard series.

Further acts take place on 8th & 9th January and will comprise a mix of 2 Olympic races (50-minutes, double points), a distance race (90-minute, triple points), and 3 final 20-minute Races.
