BLUE SKY DAY SETS SCENE FOR RACE KICK OFF AT 470 WORLDS
22 Feb 2016Two days of registration/equipment inspection are wrapped up and final entry numbers are confirmed, ready for racing to kick off today.
Entries - final entries are 43 teams in the 470 Men and 39 teams in the 470 Women representing 27 nations. Check the team line-up on the Entry List.
Sailors/Coaches Meeting - will take place at 0930 0 hours on Monday 22 February on the terrace of the El Sollado cafe.
Racing Schedule Race - the warning signal for the first race of the day on Monday 22 February is scheduled at 1200 hours, with the 470 Women starting first and racing the outer loop, followed by 470 Men racing the inner loop.Two races are scheduled for each fleet.
Spectator Boat - will be available for friends and family on Tuesday 23 February. You can sign up in the Race Office and click here for more information.
Sailing Instructions - are online and copies are available at registration.
Class Rule change - please note the class rule change to allow momentary lifting of the rudder due to the weed on the race course.
