Apply Now For 470 Junior Racing Clinic
Taking place immediately before the 470 Junior European Championships in La Rochelle, France, the 470 Junior Racing Clinic will provide the ideal opportunity for last minute training. Daily coaching, racing and debriefs will be run by the 470 appointed coach Alex Pallu (FRA), former 470 sailor and professional coach (image right).
The Junior Racing Clinic will run from 9-12 August, focusing on our youngest athletes who are 21 years old or under and eligible to compete at the 470 Junior European Championships.
This is our second “470 Racing Clinic”, the first having just concluded prior to the 470 World Championships which are now underway in the The Hague, Netherlands.
The Clinic programme will provide onshore and on the water coaching and practice races. Prizes will be awarded to the first 3 men's and the first 3 women's teams in the training races. The clinic venue is the "Pole France" (the regional training centre for the French Sailing Team) which is located near the Société des Régates Rochelaises (the organizer of the Junior European Championship. The sailors will have access to all the facilities of “Pole de France” and “SRR”.
All crew who are eligible to take part in the 2010 Junior European Championships and who have already completed the online entry for the event are invited to apply for the 470 Junior Racing Clinic. Entries will be limited, and allocated on a first come first served basis, to a maximum of 30 entries for men and 25 entries for women. An entry fee of EUR15 per crew shall be paid as a contribution towards the clinic.

Late entries shall be accepted on site, only if there are places available and on a first come first served basis, at the discretion of the clinic coach.
The 2010 470 Junior European Championships are being held together with the 420 Junior European Championships from 12-20 August 2010.
