It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Yumiko Shige (JPN), 1996 Olympic silver medallist. Yumiko fought a strong battle with cancer for several years and very sadly succumbed at hospital in Karatsu City early in the morning on Sunday 9 December 2019, aged 53 years.
The last day of Imperia Winter Regatta saw no races due to a strong storm that hit the coast with waves over 3 meters.
Imperia: the 'Winter Regatta 2018' is a great international sailing event dedicated for 420 and 470 classes that brings to Italy crews from all over Europe.
