Welcome to the 2013 470 Open Classic
The renowned sailing venue of La Rochelle in France is hosting the 2013 470 Open Classic.
Held at the same time as the Masters' Cup, the 2013 Open Classic is open to crews not eligible for the Masters nor for the Junior Worlds, namely:
- men and women crews whom one crew member will have attained his/her 22nd birthday before or on 31.12.2013, and whom no crew member will have attained his/her 30th birthday or whom the addition of the ages of the two crew members will not be more than 60 years on 31st December 2013,
- mixed crews whom no crew member will have attained his/her 30th birthday or whom the addition of the ages of the two crew members will not be more than 60 years on 31st December 2013.
In addition, their boat shall have been built before 1st August 2008.
The sailing waters off La Rochelle have hosted many a World and European Championships for a wide range of classes and the venue is highly regarded as an outstanding sailing venue both ashore and on the water.
