The ISAF has approved and published amendments to the Class Rules that had been proposed by the 470 Internationale following its General Assembly meeting.

Among these amendments, one is related to the windspeed limit above which the Race Committee may allow pumping, rocking and ooching, which is lowered from 10 to 8 knots.

The amendments are applicable from 1st January 2008 and thus will apply to the World Championships to be sailed in Melbourne from 21 to 30 January.
