The National 470 Class Associations and the Individual Members of the 470 Internationale have just been invited by the Management Committee to attend an extraordinary General Assembly meeting, to be held on 7th June 2008 at the venue of the Open European Championships (Riva del Garda - Italy).

The main purpose of the meeting is to deal with a project aimed at promoting the "470" brand name around the world to help expanding 470 sailing.

Some other items will be discussed in order to lighten the agenda of the 2008 General Assembly meeting, which will take place in Madrid (Spain) at the end of the ISAF Annual Conference on 16th November 2008.

All documents pertaining to the extraordinary General Assembly meeting have been sent to each National 470 Class Associations and Invidual Members at the addresses they have earlier communicated to the 470 Internationale.
